She Runs the World is a documentary about Allyson Felix, the most decorated female Olympic track athlete, who became an unexpected activist after facing a financial penalty from her sponsor for choosing motherhood. The film, recently featured at the Tribeca Film Festival, tells a story of defiance, integrity, and self-reinvention.

As part of the &Walsh creative team, I contributed to the visual identity for the film. The design challenge was capturing a duality: the grace of a champion and the fire of a woman who decided to fight back. Bold, layered typography conveys forward momentum, while forced perspectives and scale shifts dramatize the tension between individual and institution. Photography direction aimed to capture the full complexity of who Felix is: athlete, activist, mother, and entrepreneur.
